Thompson Bradford Architects Ltd was formed in 2008 following a merger between two established practices which had been operating in Tring for over ten years. The Practice combines specialist expertise in the fields of church and conservation work with a thorough knowledge of the local planning context and the built fabric of the Chilterns region. Thompson Bradford Architects provides a full range of architectural services from feasibility studies through to contract administration.
The principals, Bob Thompson and Peter Bradford, each have over thirty years experience in the construction industry. Bob Thompson has worked on church buildings for a variety of denominations, involving both new building and conservation work, and is a member of the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association. His award-winning work for residential clients has been featured in The Times newspaper, and he recently appeared as an adviser on Channel 4’s “Location, Location, Location”. Peter Bradford has been on the Chiltern Society Historic Buildings and Landscape Group for over ten years and lectures on historic agricultural buildings.
